General Overview

The OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool is designed for the management and programming of vehicle electronic control units (ECU).
It supports ECM, TCM, and body/other system modules for cloning, reprogramming, and diagnostics.

With OBD or bench mode, it enables data reading/writing, full cloning, ECU reset (Virgin), ECU recovery, and much more.
It is a powerful and intuitive solution for workshops specializing in automotive and motorcycle electronics.

Q: Is it possible to activate IMMO, Cluster Calibration, or Airbag Reset functions?
A: No, the DC706 only supports ECU Flasher functions.

Q: Does the device require an annual subscription fee?
A: Free updates are provided for the first year from registration. Starting from the second year, an annual subscription fee applies.

Q: What is the difference between MP001, P003+, and P003 adapters?
A: MP001 covers all P003+ functions, and P003+ covers all P003 functions. Simos18 ECU cloning requires MP001.

Q: Does the DC706 support multiple languages?
A: Currently, only English is supported.
