Shipping & Returns

1. Shipping of orders

Subject to product availability, orders are prepared and shipped within an average of 2 business days after payment confirmation.

Shipments are handled by:

  • DPD, with delivery against signature (track your parcel here),

  • Colissimo, with delivery against signature (optional service, extra fees may apply).

On special request via our sales department, other carriers such as DHL, UPS, FedEx or Chronopost may be arranged (additional fees apply).

KEYFIRST delivers to:

  • France,

  • Overseas territories (DOM-TOM),

  • the European Union,

  • as well as Switzerland and worldwide.

A tracking number is always provided.


2. Shipping and handling fees

Shipping fees include:

  • fixed preparation and packaging costs,

  • variable transport costs depending on the parcel’s weight and/or size.

For certain products (bulky, fragile, or requiring special packaging), additional handling fees may apply. These will be clearly indicated during checkout.


3. Transfer of risk

In accordance with Article L.216-5 of the French Consumer Code, the transfer of risk occurs when the consumer physically takes possession of the goods.
For B2B transactions, goods travel at the buyer’s risk once handed over to the carrier.


4. Packaging

Parcels are packed with suitable and protective packaging to ensure safe delivery.


5. Right of withdrawal (B2C customers)

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer has a 14-day cooling-off period starting from receipt of the goods.

The customer bears:

  • return shipping costs,

  • any depreciation of goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the goods.


6. Returns procedure

Returned goods must be:

  • in their original condition, complete and unused,

  • in their original packaging,

  • accompanied by the invoice or delivery slip.

Return costs are borne by the customer, except in cases of non-conformity or defect attributable to KEYFIRST.


7. Exemptions from withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • customized or personalized products,

  • perishable goods,

  • unsealed software, digital products, or consumables,

  • goods unsealed for health or hygiene reasons,

  • electronic products, transponders, car keys, remote controls, ECUs, and any equipment programmed, cut, or configured specifically for the client.

Any programmed, coded, or cut product is considered a personalized item and cannot be returned or refunded, except in cases of proven defect attributable to KEYFIRST.


8. Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 14 days after receipt of returned goods or proof of shipment.
Refunds are made using the same payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

📦 What are the average delivery times?

We work with DPD, Colissimo, and La Poste Lettre Suivie. On request, we can also ship via DHL, UPS, FedEx, or Chronopost (additional fees may apply).

🌍 Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We deliver to France, French overseas territories, the European Union, as well as Switzerland and the rest of the world.

Shipping costs include preparation, packaging, and transport. They vary depending on the weight and/or volume of the parcel. Some specific items may incur additional handling fees.

  • Consumers (B2C): upon receipt of the parcel.

  • Business customers (B2B): as soon as the products are handed over to the carrier.

🔄 What is the withdrawal period?

Consumers have 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw their purchase.

📥 How can I return a product?

Products must be:

  • unused and complete,

  • in their original packaging,

  • accompanied by the invoice or delivery slip.

Return costs are borne by the customer, except in case of defect or non-conformity.

Excluded from returns:

  • personalized or programmed products (keys, transponders, remote controls, ECUs, etc.),

  • unsealed software or digital media,

  • opened hygiene or health products.

If the return is accepted, the refund is made within a maximum of 14 days, using the same payment method as the order.
