Silca™ at Keyfirst: lever keys, key cutting machines and professional blanks
Silca™ is one of the most iconic brands in the professional locksmith world. Founded in Italy, Silca™ has built its reputation over more than 50 years on the manufacture of high-quality key blanks and electronic and mechanical key cutting machines. With over 750 million keys produced each year and 23,000 machines installed worldwide, Silca™ is a global reference in its sector. The brand is now integrated into the Keyline™ group, further strengthening its industrial position and its ability to offer a range covering the full spectrum of European market profiles. For a workshop looking to cover the maximum number of profiles with a single supplier, the Keyline™ + Silca™ combination represents the most comprehensive offer available.
Keyfirst is the official Silca™ distributor in France, with English-speaking support available Monday to Saturday for UK and international customers, permanent stock and 24-48h delivery. The range available at Keyfirst covers three areas: lever and bit keys in brass (core of this page's catalogue), building key blanks (flat, lever and dimple) available in Keyfirst's building categories, and key cutting machines from the Futura™ and Bravo™ families, available in Keyfirst's machine category. All Silca™ blanks feature cross-references with Keyline™, JMA™ and Errebi™ equivalents on every product page.
Silca™ lever and bit keys in brass: reference blanks for building locks
Silca™ lever and bit keys in brass form the core of this catalogue. These are the blanks designed for old lever-type locks, still very common in French and European residential property: old apartment doors, letterboxes, cellars, attics, garages and old utility rooms. The 6M17 Silca™ lever blank (JMA/AD-21) and the 6JM5 Silca™ (KL/G-JM5, JMA/JP-2) are among the most popular references. The 6M13 Silca™ (KL/G-M13, JMA/AD-12), the 6JM2 Silca™ (KL/G-JM2, JMA/JP-5) and the 6M25 Silca™ (KL/G-M25, JMA/AD-23) complete the most common profiles for the French and European market.
Each Silca™ lever key reference is systematically cross-referenced with its equivalents at other manufacturers, notably Keyline™ (G- prefix) and JMA™ (AD- or JP- prefix). This inter-brand organisation allows a workshop to switch between suppliers in the event of stock tensions, without changing the cutting profile on their machine. Lever and bit keys are brass blanks supplied in professional lots, with Silca™ dimensional quality guaranteeing precise cutting on all machines on the market.
Silca™ key cutting machine range: Futura™ and Bravo Professional™
Alongside blanks, Keyfirst offers the complete Silca™ key cutting machine range. The Futura Pro One™ is the top electronic machine in the compact range: removable 10-inch touchscreen tablet, motor up to 3 times more powerful (12,100 rpm), process LED indicators, fully guided procedures, and compact Total Black design. The Futura Pro Unlimited™ is the premium version with free unlimited software and database updates, dual cutting station, integrated engraving on keys, medals and plaques. The Futura Auto™ is dedicated exclusively to automotive key cutting with brand/model/year guidance. The Futura Edge™ is the entry-level solution for flat and cruciform keys.
The Bravo Professional II™ is the world's best-selling mechanical key cutting machine in its segment, the result of over 40 years of Silca™ experience. Fitted with four-face swivelling jaws with torque-control lever and centesimal-adjustment mechanical tracer, it is the reference choice for high-volume flat building key workshops. The Silca SKP™ software drives the entire Futura™ family with updates via Wi-Fi, Silca Remote Service or USB. On the Futura Pro Unlimited™, updates are free and unlimited. On other models, they are available via annual subscription at Keyfirst.
Silca™ building blanks: flat keys, dimple keys and inter-brand cross-references
Beyond lever keys, Silca™ offers a complete range of building blanks available in dedicated categories at Keyfirst. Integrated into the Keyline™ group, Silca™ covers specific profiles not available in the standard Keyline™ range. Flat standard keys cover entrance doors, letterboxes and utility rooms. High-security dimple keys correspond to premium cylinders (ISEO™, VACHETTE™, BRICARD™, FICHET™, THIRARD™), a high-margin segment for the professional. The Star range offers chrome-finish versions for premium workshops. On every Silca™ product page at Keyfirst, the equivalent references at Keyline™, JMA™ and Errebi™ are indicated for easy cross-sourcing.

Frequently asked questions about Silca™ products
Are Silca™ blanks compatible with my machine?
Yes. Silca™ blanks are compatible with all professional key cutting machines on the market: Keyline™ (Ninja Vortex, Gymkana, Easy), Xhorse™ (Dolphin, Condor), Kukai™ (Alpha Pro, Beta Pro), Silca™ (Futura Pro, Bravo) and all others. The cutting profile is identical for the same reference code, regardless of blank brand. At Keyfirst, every Silca™ product page shows the equivalent references at Keyline™, JMA™ and Errebi™.
Which Silca™ machine should I choose?
For high-volume flat building key cutting with a robust, economical machine, the Bravo Professional II™ is the natural choice. For covering flat, laser, dimple and automotive keys with software guidance, the Futura Pro One™ or Futura Pro Unlimited™ are the right solutions. For 100% automotive use, the Futura Auto™ is purpose-built. For cutting plus engraving, the Futura Pro Unlimited™ or Futura Pro Engraving™ are indicated. In case of doubt, the Keyfirst technical support ticket provides a personalised recommendation.
Is a subscription needed for the Silca™ SKP™ software?
It depends on the model. The Futura Pro Unlimited™ includes free unlimited updates, no subscription needed. For the Futura Pro One™, Futura Auto™ and Futura Edge™, updates are available via annual subscription at Keyfirst. Without an active subscription, the machine runs on the last update installed but does not receive new vehicle and profile data.
What is the difference between a lever key and a bit key?
A lever key (clé à gorges) features grooves on its blade and works with lever-type locks. A bit key (clé à larder) is designed for older bit locks, a type of traditional cylinder very common in older French building locks. They differ mainly in their bow profile and blade shape. At Keyfirst, all Silca™ lever and bit key references include their JMA™ and Keyline™ equivalents to facilitate profile identification.
