Collision repair and module reset : airbag/SRS, battery and steering angle sensor (SAS), subject to module coverage.
The OBDSTAR ECU MASTER Configuration D is designed for automotive electronics, body repair and collision repair professionals. Operated from a Windows PC, it brings together the AIRBAG RESET, OTHER/ECM RESET, BATTERY RESET and SAS RESET applications available in OBDSTAR software. Operations vary by control unit, exact reference, software version and connection mode.
Body shops, control unit repair specialists, airbag specialists and automotive electronics workshops.
Search by ECU reference and consult available functions and connection diagrams in the software procedure.
Version D covers airbag, other compatible modules, battery and SAS functions. Engine and transmission cloning functions under Configurations A, B or C are not included with this activation alone.
Depending on the SRS control unit, functions may include reading ECU information, reading and clearing fault codes, EEPROM or Flash reading and writing, data backup and crash data clearing. Each operation must be confirmed against the coverage list for the exact module reference. Some references provide only a subset of these functions.
The modes OBD, BENCH, BOOT or JTAG/BDM are used according to the procedure. BENCH allows direct work on a removed control unit. Low-level access requires the connections and precautions specified by OBDSTAR.
Reset functions for supported battery management modules, depending on the system type.
Reset or calibration of compatible steering angle sensors, depending on the vehicle.
Additional functions available only for references listed by OBDSTAR.
Configuration D is designed for tasks comparable to those of the OBDSTAR P50 range for airbag, battery and SAS work. On the ECU MASTER platform, functions associated with the MP001, RH850 and CAN FD adapters are integrated as specified for this configuration; separate purchase is generally unnecessary for covered procedures. Similar functions do not mean the devices have identical coverage. Check the ECU reference and accessories in the current procedure.

No. This function depends on the exact SRS control unit reference and software coverage.
Their associated functions are advertised as integrated into ECU MASTER D. Nevertheless, check the connection method and any specific accessory required by the module procedure.
Applications under Configurations A, B and C require separate activations.
Equipment is covered by a two-year Keyfirst warranty, subject to the terms applicable to the sale.
The brand, model and manufacturer names mentioned are registered trademarks of their respective owners. They are used solely to identify compatible applications.
For trained professionals working on vehicles they are authorised to service. Before any operation, identify the exact module, stabilise its power supply, follow the OBDSTAR wiring diagram and back up its original data. Incorrect wiring or writing can render a control unit unusable or compromise a safety function.
After a collision, inspect and replace all components required by the vehicle manufacturer's procedures, then verify the entire SRS system. Clearing crash data does not replace repair or validation of the safety system. Work on batteries and high-voltage systems requires appropriate qualifications and protective equipment.

This description does not guarantee support for every reference: the current OBDSTAR coverage list and the procedure for the specific module govern compatibility.
