The KEYDIY KD-X6 Standard brings essential electronic key-programming functions together in one tablet. It supports numerous automotive and motorcycle IMMO systems, BMW CAS/FEM/BDC key-data reading, and data collection for selected MLB, MQB48, SC and SD platforms.
Its standalone architecture makes workshop and mobile jobs easier. Depending on the vehicle and procedure, certain functions require a KD-Coins activation, an online service or a separately sold adapter.

Mercedes-Benz functions
The KD-X6 features support for the FBS3 system, including all-keys-lost operations on supported vehicles. With the Standard version, the appropriate FBS3 adapter must be purchased separately.
Partial functions are also announced for Mercedes-Benz 4th, 4.5th and 5th-generation systems. KEYDIY plans to expand this coverage through future updates. A key-generation function is also reserved for the Mercedes-Benz range.

Compatibility and operating requirements
Coverage depends on the make, model, year, region, control unit, key type and immobiliser-system version. The presence of a make or platform in the documentation does not guarantee that every function is available on every vehicle.
Depending on the job, module removal, bench reading, an additional accessory, KD-Coins or an online service may be required. Check vehicle coverage and required accessories before carrying out any procedure.
Important – Electronic programming only
The KD-X6 does not cut mechanical key blades. A suitable key-cutting machine must be used separately.

The product is available to pre-order. Delivery will take place no later than January 2027, with dispatch as soon as the first units arrive.
Are the extended functions included?
No. The functions shown in the table require separate activation using KD-Coins or euros.
Does the KD-X6 Standard support Mercedes-Benz FBS3?
Yes, on supported vehicles. However, the required FBS3 adapter is not included in the Standard package.
Is the KD-MOTO adapter included?
No. The KD-MOTO kit required for the relevant motorcycle functions is sold separately.
Does the KD-X6 work with DoIP vehicles?
Yes. DoIP communication is built in for programming supported models.
Can it identify and clone transponders?
Yes. It supports the identification and cloning of many compatible transponders. Coverage should be checked for the specific chip type.
Can it be used when all keys are lost?
Yes, on selected supported systems. The procedure may require module access, an online calculation, an activation or an additional accessory.
Does the KD-X6 cut key blades?
No. It programs the electronic components of the key. Blade cutting requires a separate key-cutting machine.
Who is the KD-X6 Standard designed for?
It is designed for automotive and vehicle-locksmith professionals. It must only be used on vehicles for which ownership or authorisation to carry out the work has been verified.
