Learning Objectives

• Differentiate between a basic emergency key and a key with remote control

• Identify the different types of transponders

• Understand the functions of the cloning devices offered by Keyfirst

• Learn how to clone a transponder for an emergency key

Training Content

• Overview of automotive key types: simple keys, remote controls, transponders

• Details on key design and transponder characteristics

• Introduction to the Keyfirst website for product and resource search

• Presentation and hands-on use of the referenced equipment with software or mobile app (depending on model):

  • KEYLINE transponder cloning devices

  • XHORSE devices compatible with the Keyfirst ecosystem

Target Audience

This training is intended for employees, technicians, managers, or future professional users of Keyfirst solutions.

Note: CPF funding is not available for this training.

Prerequisites

• Be a current or future Keyfirst customer (training is for Keyfirst equipment buyers)

• Own equipment referenced by Keyfirst
